Ἱερακιστρατηγῶι στρατηιγῶι παρὰ Ἀματόκου τοῦ Δικαιογένους· ἀπογράφομαι εἰς τὸ ἐνεστὸς ἔτος Τιβερίου Καίσαρος Σεβαστοῦ τὰ ὑπάρχοντα ἡμῖν πρόβατα εἴκοσι ὀκτώ, αἶγας δύο, γίνονται πρόβατα κη΄, ἐπακολουθοῦντας ἄρνας, ἐρίφους, ἃ νεμήσεται περὶ Σεφὼι τῆς Θμοι( ) τοπαρχίας καὶ διʼ ὅλου τοῦ νομοῦ διὰ νομ( )έως δημοσίου τοῦ Δείου, λαογραφουμένου εἰς τὴν αὐτὴν Νεσμῆμιν, ὧν καὶ τάξομαι τὸ καθῆκον τέλος.

To the strategos of the Herakleides district (i.e., to the strategos), from Amatokos son of Dikaiogenes: I register for the present year of Tiberius Caesar Augustus the livestock belonging to us: twenty-eight sheep, two goats— total: 28 sheep—together with the accompanying lambs and kids, which will be pastured around Sephoï in the Thmoi( ) toparchy and throughout the whole nome, through the public herdsman of Deios, who is registered for the poll-tax in the same (place), Nesmemis; and for these I will pay the due tax.
