And, moreover, for security (of the debt), (I grant/pledge) from the property of Aurelius Ammonios, in a place called Tarōt, six arouras of land, together with their proportional share of the pit/well there, and of the water-supply, and of the water-lifting machine and its installation, and the mechanical implements/tools, and a tower, and every right belonging to them in every respect.
Boundaries: to the south, a public road; to the north, the canal there; to the east, a small plot (…).
So that you, the aforesaid Gerontios, and your heirs and all kinds of successors may have and hold these immovable properties, together with every right belonging to them, according to the narrative previously set out; and (so that you may) have authority over the plots: to sow, to enjoy the produce, and to collect the revenues yearly, if you should wish—(the amount) being reckoned and credited/relieved in respect of the tax of the plots, in place of the “benevolent” character of the same debt.
And neither I nor my heirs are able to tear away/withdraw such immovable properties, or any part of them, or any right, from you or from your heirs, until the completion/settlement of the same debt and the full payment of the same debt, in accordance with the obligation, just as you received (it) from me; and, when questioned, I agreed and released (you).
