But if I fail to do this, and if it should happen that you suffer any loss on my account, you shall have full right and authority to take possession of all my property, to sell from it, to mortgage it, and to dispose of it in any other manner until you have been fully compensated. This present written guarantee is valid, and upon being questioned, I have acknowledged and confirmed it.
