ἀργυρίου νομίσματος δραχμὰς ι τετρώβολον, αἷς οὐδὲν προσῆκται. ἀποδότωσαν δὲ αἱ δεδανεισμέναι τὰς τοῦ ἀργυρίου δραχμὰς ι τετρώβολον μηνὶ ἑβδόμῳ καὶ τριακοστῷ ἔτους χωρὶς πάσης ὑπερθέσεως. ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἀποδῶσι καθὰ γέγραπται, ἀποτεισάτωσαν αἱ δεδανεισμέναι τῷ Βάσσῳ τὸ μὲν προκείμενον κεφάλαιον μεθ’ ἡμιολίας, τὸν δὲ τόκον τῆς ὑπερχρονίας τὸν καθήκοντα, τῆς δὲ πράξεως οὔσης ἔκ τε τῶν δεδανεισμένων ἔκ τε αὐτῶν καὶ ἐξ ἑνὸς καὶ ἐξ οὗ ἐὰν αὐτῶν αἱρῆται καὶ ἐκ τῶν ὑπαρχόντων αὐταῖς, αὐτοῖς πάντων καθάπερ ἐκ δίκης, ἀκύρων οὐσῶν καὶ ὧν ἐὰν ἐπενέγκωσι πίστεων πασῶν σκέπης πάσης.

“(In) silver coin: ten drachmas and four obols, to which nothing further is to be added. Let the borrowers repay the ten drachmas and four obols of silver in the seventh month of the thirty-third year, without any postponement. But if they do not repay as it is written, let the borrowers pay to Bassus the aforesaid principal with a penalty of one-and-a-half (i.e., 50% extra), and the interest due for the period of overdue time; and execution (collection) shall be from the borrowers—both from them and from whichever one of them he chooses—and from their property, in every respect as if by a court judgment, with all guarantees being void and with no protection from any securities they may produce.
